We consider uplifting fiction and nonfiction: metaphysical, esoteric, healing, and new-science books. We are not inclined toward channeled works, magic, Tarot, and witchcraft. We also package and market prerecorded music of high quality: new-age, easy listening country, and folk under our Empyrean Quest Music imprint. At this time we are not offering advances, but offer a generous 20% of sale price as a royalty. We print out a few at a time, usually paperback perfect bound. We advertise them on Empyrean Quest Publishers site, Alexandrian Books, Amazon.com, and Barnes and Noble online. We are listed with Baker and Taylor, the world's largest book distributor. We currently have about 12 titles in print and publish about 4 a year, 2 from unpublished authors.
If you are interested, E-MAIL (preferrred) or send us a query letter describing your work in a page or less. We prefer working with completed works. If extensive proofreading is involved, we may charge the author. If we are interested, we will then ask for an outline and one or more sample chapters. Insert them in the body of the email. We do not open email attachments from unknown authors. On approval, we publish in a limited edition, or we take already printed works on consignment for a 20% fee. If on consignment, Empyrean will send you a check for 80% of the price you set, for each work sold. We set up a free webpage for your work. Titles must be approved by the editor.
